Short version: Arixify stores your prompts and account info to provide its service.
We do not sell your data, track your browsing, or share anything with third parties for advertising.
What we collect
When you use Arixify, we collect the following:
- Google account information — your name, email address, and profile photo, used solely for authentication via Google Sign-In.
- Prompt content — the titles and text of prompts you create and save. This is the core data that Arixify stores on your behalf.
- Usage metadata — how many times each prompt has been used and when it was last used, to power sorting and ranking features.
- Folder structure — folder names and ordering you create to organize your prompts.
What we do NOT collect
- Your browsing history or the pages you visit
- The content you type into ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or Perplexity
- Any data from AI platforms beyond what you explicitly save as a prompt
- Payment information (handled entirely by Paddle, our payment processor)
- Device identifiers, IP addresses, or any analytics tracking
How we use your data
Your data is used exclusively to provide Arixify's features:
- Storing and syncing your prompts across devices (Pro plan)
- Authenticating your account and identifying your subscription status
- Displaying usage counts and ratings within the extension
We do not use your data for advertising, analytics, or any purpose beyond operating the service.
Data storage
Your prompts and account data are stored in Google Firestore (Firebase), located in the
us-central1 region. Data is protected by Firebase security rules that ensure
only you can read or write your own data.
Free plan users store data locally in your browser using Chrome's built-in storage API.
This data never leaves your device unless you sign in and enable cloud sync.
Third-party services
Arixify uses the following third-party services:
- Google Firebase — authentication and cloud data storage. Subject to Firebase's Privacy Policy.
- Paddle — payment processing for Pro subscriptions. Paddle acts as the merchant of record. We do not receive or store your payment details. Subject to Paddle's Privacy Policy.
Data deletion
You can delete your data at any time:
- Sign out of Arixify to stop cloud sync immediately
- Use the "Reset" option in Settings to clear all local data
- Email us to request complete deletion of your account and all associated cloud data
We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
Children's privacy
Arixify is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal
information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected
such information, please contact us immediately.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the service evolves. When we do, we will update
the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Arixify after changes
constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
